Submission is electronic only via the TRANSNET e-tender submission portal (https://transnetetenders.azurewebsites.net). Bidders must register on the TRANSNET esupplier portal, log intent to bid, and upload documents against the tender. Each upload is limited to 30 mb; multiple uploads are allowed. All pricing must be completed electronically on the e-supplier portal; paper pricing schedules are not accepted. NO telephonic, telegraphic, facsimile, or e-mailed offers will be accepted. Late submissions are rejected. Bidders must submit at least a day before closing to avoid technical issues; TRANSNET is not liable for bidder technical challenges. Each company must submit under its own registered profile; submissions through another company's profile are disqualified. Joint ventures may submit through any member's profile. Uploaded documents must include the tender number and description. Mandatory returnable documents include: valid CIDB certificate (7gb or higher), project manager bsc engineering certificate (electrical, civil, or mechanical), trade test certificates for plumbing, electrician, and refrigeration/airconditioning artisans, proof of registration as an electrical contractor with the department of labour (may be subcontracted), coid-a letter of good standing, certificate of attendance at the compulsory clarification meeting, valid tax clearance certificate and tcs pin, b-bbee certificate or sworn affidavit (for emes/qses with 51%+ black ownership), csd registration proof, workmen's compensation fund letter of good standing, authority to submit tender, record of addenda, schedule of proposed sub-contractors, non-disclosure agreement, RFP declaration form, breach of law declaration, certificate of acquaintance with tender document, service provider integrity pact, supplier code of conduct, two years' audited financial statements, compulsory enterprise questionnaire, and specific goals points claim form. Tenders must be in english. NO alternative offers are considered.

Bidders must complete and sign the supplier acknowledgement confirming the tender validity extension for enquiry NO e2278dxgpou until 28 february 2027, with all terms, conditions and quoted rates remaining unchanged. The signed acknowledgement must be returned to ESKOM.

Tender documents are obtainable from 07 august 2026 at the cederberg municipality reception, 2a voortrekker street, clanwilliam, between 08:00 and 16:00 (monday-thursday) and 08:00-14:00 on fridays, or from anneke januarie (027 482 8000 or [email protected]) Upon payment of the tender participation fee. Bids must be submitted on the official bid documentation issued by cederberg municipality, in a sealed envelope endorsed with the tender number and title, and deposited in the tender box at the cederberg municipality main building, 2a voortrekker street, clanwilliam, by NO later than 12:00 on monday, 31 august 2026. Proof of payment of the non-refundable tender deposit is required when collecting tender documents. Failure to attend the compulsory site clarification meeting renders the tender non-responsive. The municipality reserves the right to withdraw, re-advertise, reject, or accept part of any tender, and is not bound to accept the lowest or highest tender.

Late quotations will not be accepted under any circumstances. Documents must not exceed 10mb. Returnable forms: sbd 1 (invitation to bid), sbd 4 (declaration of interest), and sbd 6.1 (Preference points claim) must be completed, signed, and returned; failure to do so leads to disqualification. A valid tax clearance certificate and proof of csd registration must also be submitted. The nac reserves the right not to appoint, not to accept the lowest quote, and to appoint more than one service provider.

NO late submissions accepted. NO email or fax submissions permitted. - Complete all bid documents in permanent black ink only. Bids must be submitted as two hard copies (original and copy) and one electronic copy on USB in pdf format, all bound in a sealed envelope.
