• Pricing: Exclude VAT from unit rates/lump sums in the Schedule of Quantities. VAT is added automatically to the extended total. "Rate only" items must be priced but excluded from the extended total.
• Alternative tenders are NOT accepted.
• Withdrawals/changes allowed before closing date/time only. After closing, no changes permitted. Successful tenderers failing to sign the contract within 14 days may incur re-advertising costs.

Scope: Repair and refurbishment of Makwane Wastewater Treatment Works and 3 associated sewer pump stations over a 3-year period.

Deliverables:

• Complete all works as per Schedule of Quantities (C2.1), engineering specifications (C3.2, C3.3), and drawings (Annexure E).
• Submit a construction programme (C4) and preliminary programme/cash flow schedule (T2.2.6).
• Provide a staffing profile (T2.2.8) and sub-contractors schedule (T2.2.7) if applicable.
• Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (Annexure C) and EPWP guidelines (Annexure D).
• Site visit certificate (T2.2.10) is compulsory.
• Plant and equipment must meet the Schedule of Plant Available (T2.2.2).

Standards: Applicable standardised and particular specifications (C5) and tender drawings (Annexure E) must be adhered to.

Service Levels: Time for completion must be specified in the Summary of Tender and Contract Data (C1.2.4).

Pricing: Submit Form of Offer and Acceptance (C1.1) with Schedule of Quantities (C2.1). Unit rates and lump sums must exclude VAT; VAT is added to the extended total.
