Submit bids in the tender box at Makhado Local Municipality Civic Centre, 83 Krogh Street, Makhado, on or before the closing date. Bids must remain valid for 90 days after the closing date. Late, incomplete, unsigned, or improperly submitted bids (e.g., in pencil, by telegraph, facsimile, or email) will be disqualified. Required documents for evaluation: valid Tax compliance status PIN (SARS), company registration documents (CK), certified copies of owner(s) ID(s) (not older than 3 months), proof of municipal rates payment (or lease agreement/traditional authority letter for non-ratable areas) for both entity and directors, and a CSD report. Certified copies of certified copies will not be accepted. Bid documents are obtainable from 10 June 2026 at the Procurement Office (B043, Ground Floor, 83 Krogh Street, Civic Center, Makhado) for a non-refundable fee of R600.00 or can be downloaded for free from https://etenders.treasury.gov.za/content/advertised-tender or www.makhado.gov.za. The Municipality reserves the right to accept any part of a bid or reject any bid, including the lowest bid.

Evaluation is based on the 80/20 preference point system, with 20 points allocated for preferential procurement (Community Services). Bids missing any mandatory documents (e.g., Tax PIN, CSD report) or non-compliant with submission format (e.g., unsigned, in pencil) will be disqualified. The Municipality is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.

Supply and delivery of skip bins and cover nets as per the specifications attached to the bid documents. Bidders must adhere to all technical requirements outlined in the tender specifications. This is a re-advertisement (Bid No. 8/3/2/2156, Notice No. 59/2026).

Pricing must be submitted as per the bid document requirements. Bids must remain valid for 90 days after the closing date. For certain tenders (e.g., supply of spares, hauling, maintenance), a 3-year audited financial statement is required where legally mandated. Payment terms and guarantees (if any) are specified in the bid documents.

Mandatory compliance documents: Valid Tax compliance status PIN (SARS), company registration documents (CK), certified copies of owner(s) ID(s) (not older than 3 months), proof of municipal rates payment (or lease agreement/traditional authority letter for non-ratable areas) for both entity and directors, and a CSD report. All service providers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). B-BBEE compliance is evaluated under the 80/20 preference point system.
