Evaluation Criteria

Non-compliance may result in rejection or a 7-day grace period for supplementary administrative information. Stage 2 (Mandatory Requirements): Automatic disqualification if any of the following are not met: attendance at compulsory site briefing (11 June 2026), CIDB Grading 2SF or higher (or proof of application), COIDA compliance (Letter of Good Standing or Mutual Association Policy), SAQCC registration for Gas Suppression Technician, SAQCC registration for Fire Detection Technician, and proof of KwaZulu-Natal locality footprint. Stage 3 (Price and Preference Points): 80/20 point system. Price (80 points) uses the formula Ps = 80(1 - (Pt - Pmin)/Pmin), where Ps is the score, Pt is the tender price, and Pmin is the lowest acceptable tender price. Preference Points (20 points) are allocated as follows: 10 points for 51% Black Owned suppliers, 10 points for 30% Black Woman Owned suppliers.
