100% black ownership: 6 points.
51–99% black ownership: 4 points.
100% black women ownership: 4 points; 30–99% black women ownership: 2 points.
100% black youth ownership: 4 points; 30–99% black youth ownership: 2 points.
20%+ disabled ownership: 4 points.
Eastern Cape-based bidders: 2 points.
SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form) must be completed and signed to claim points for specific goals.
Total points: 100 (80 for price + 20 for specific goals).
The highest point scorer will be awarded the contract, unless circumstances justify otherwise (e.g., capacity concerns).
