Inxuba yethemba local municipality is requesting quotations for the supply and delivery of electrical material, including termination kits, fuses, circuit breakers, lamps, and related items, for both its cradock and middelburg units. Evaluation: 80/20 preferential point system – 20 points for locality and B-BBEE (50% each). Locality points: 10 for enterprises within Inxuba Yethemba Local Municipality, 8 for Chris Hani District, 5 for Eastern Cape, 2 for South Africa, 0 for outside South Africa. Municipal account must be submitted for locality points.
B-BBEE: 10 points allocated to 100% Black owned firms; B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit required.
Pricing: all prices evaluated inclusive of VAT, except for non-VAT vendors where prices are evaluated exclusive of VAT. Quotations must be valid for 60 days from closing date.
Payment: within 30 days after goods delivered.
General: quotations must be signed or stamped with company stamp; incomplete or late quotations will not be considered; municipality reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any quotation. SBD forms are not required – submissions of SBD forms will be disqualified.
