Submit bids exclusively via email to [email protected] by 05 June 2026 at 11:00. Late submissions or submissions to any other email will be rejected. Use only the official forms provided (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, SBD7.1) and do not re-type them. Include a quotation on company letterhead. The successful bidder must sign the SBD7 contract form. Do not contact any SANParks staff other than Hazel Matsane (SCM) or Michelle Van Der Merwe (Technical) at 013 735 3510 for queries. Bid validity period is 90 days from closing date. Failure to comply with submission requirements may disqualify the bid.

Evaluation is based on the 80/20 preference point system: 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals (B-BBEE status level and location proximity to Kruger National Park). Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and compliant with tax obligations (SARS TCS PIN or CSD number). Valid B-BBEE documentation (verification certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs) is required to qualify for preference points. Bids must be submitted exactly as prescribed (email only to designated address). All required SBD forms (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, SBD7.1) must be fully completed. Foreign suppliers must complete the residency and tax liability questionnaire. Bidders in the service of the state or with directors/members in the service of the state will be disqualified.

Supply and delivery of 302 single bed/base sets as per the attached specification. Goods must conform to the standards mentioned in the bidding documents. Delivery must be made within 7 days of appointment. Packing must prevent damage during transit. Goods must be new, unused, of current models, and incorporate all recent improvements. Warranty is valid for 12 months after delivery. Goods must have no defects arising from design, materials, or workmanship.

Pricing must be provided in Rand for each item, including VAT at 15%. Submit a detailed breakdown: unit price, total unit price, sub-total, VAT, and grand total. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of invoice after delivery, in accordance with PFMA. Prices must not vary from the quoted bid prices unless authorized. Performance security (e.g., bank guarantee, irrevocable letter of credit, or cashier’s cheque) may be required within 30 days of contract award. The successful bidder must sign a written contract form (SBD7).

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide proof of registration. Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN from SARS is required; if unavailable, provide CSD number. Submit a tax clearance certificate or printed TCS certificate. B-BBEE status level verification certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs/QSEs) must be submitted to qualify for preference points. Consortia/joint ventures/sub-contractors must each submit separate TCS certificates/PINs/CSD numbers. No bids will be considered from persons in the service of the state or entities with directors/members in the service of the state. Complete and submit SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1, and SBD7.1 forms. Foreign suppliers must answer the questionnaire regarding RSA residency, branch, permanent establishment, income source, and tax liability. Failure to comply with any of these requirements may render the bid invalid.
