Legal: Must comply with all relevant South African statutory OHS requirements.

Scope: Purchase, collect, and remove scrapped and contaminated petrol and diesel from Komati Power Station. Main contractor/supplier must: demonstrate selection criteria for subcontractors; notify Eskom prior to appointing subcontractors; ensure subcontractors have adequate resources and competencies; manage subcontractors to comply with legal and Eskom requirements; monitor subcontractors via audits/assessments; provide grounds for termination of subcontractor work; address non-conformances directly. Eskom reserves the right to verify compliance and request testimonials/references for similar past work.

Mandatory compliance with: Eskom Contractor Health and Safety Requirements Standard 32-136; OHS specifications/requirements provided by Eskom; Occupational Health and Safety Act; Compensation for Occupational Diseases and Illnesses Act. Post-award: align company processes with Eskom OHS policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure all employees (including contractors/suppliers) undergo Eskom induction. Evaluation will assess compliance and capability across four categories:
