Submit the SBD 6.1 Preference Points Claim Form as part of your tender. Include all required proof/documentation for specific goals to claim preference points. Evaluation uses either the 80/20 or 90/10 Preferential Procurement Regulation 2022 system, depending on tender value. Points are allocated as follows: Price (80 or 90 points) + Specific Goals (20 or 10 points). B-BBEE compliance is required to claim preference points. Black People are defined as Africans, Coloureds, and Indians who are South African citizens by birth, descent, or naturalisation (before or after 27 April 1994). Additional categories: Black women (Amended Code Series 100 of B-BBEE Act), Black youth (National Youth Commission Act, 1996), Black people with disabilities (Employment Equity Act). Additional experience requirements: Minimum 3 completed/ongoing projects of similar scope in server room/data-centre environments (last 5 years), with reference letters including project details, scope, duration, and contactable referees.

Supply, install, configure, test, document, and commission a Server Room Monitoring System for 24/7 continuous environmental and safety monitoring. Scope includes: Temperature and humidity sensors (data-centre/server-room grade, configurable thresholds, real-time alerts). Water leak detection: Controller with NC/NO outputs, sensing cable (full-length detection), immediate alerts, scalable. Smoke detection: Server-room compatible, early warning, integrated alerts. Centralised monitoring dashboard with real-time status, historical logging, configurable thresholds, and role-based access. Alerts via email and SMS to minimum 3 users. All equipment must be new, commercially supported, and manufacturer-certified. Installation must follow manufacturer best practices. Testing, commissioning, handover, and basic user training required. As-built documentation and system manuals to be submitted. Support and maintenance for 36 months (3 years) included. Proof of experience: Submit 3 contactable reference letters for similar projects (server room/data-centre) completed in the last 5 years, including client details, project scope, duration, and referee contact. Proof of OEM reseller certificate required.

Pricing must be in ZAR, inclusive of VAT, and firm for 60 calendar days. Complete Annexure A pricing schedule (once-off and ad-hoc rates for support/maintenance). Table 1 (once-off): Itemised costs for sensors, controllers, cables, smoke detection, monitoring software, installation, testing, training, and documentation. Table 2 (ad-hoc): Hourly and per-kilometre rates for Years 1-3, with and without escalations. SANAS reserves the right to award to multiple suppliers, adjust quantities, or cancel the request. All fields in the quotation must be completed. Payment: 30 working days after valid invoice receipt.

Mandatory documents: Completed and signed SBD 4, SBD 6.1, valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (signed by Commissioner of Oath), valid tax PIN, and CSD report with compliant tax status. Non-compliant tax status at award will trigger a 7-working-day rectification period; failure to comply results in disqualification. Disqualification risks: Fraudulent or inaccurate information (e.g., fake B-BBEE credentials, experience), false declarations on SBDs, listing on National Treasury’s restricted suppliers database, or non-compliance with specifications. Additional requirements: Proof of 3 similar projects (server room/data-centre) in the last 5 years, including reference letters with client details, scope, duration, and contactable referees.
