Relocate existing blinds and curtain rails behind the burglar. Verify measurements before manufacturing. Polokwane Office: Door must include frosted laminated safety glass, heavy-duty handles and hinges (Height: 2.1m, Length: 0.9m). Install onto existing steel door frame. Purpose: Enhance security, deter intruders, and improve staff safety at both offices.

Functional evaluation criteria: Years of experience in supply and installation of aluminium security burglars and doors (40% weight). Scoring: 0=No experience, 10=1 year, 20=2-3 years, 30=4-5 years, 40=6+ years. Contactable references (20% weight). Scoring: 0=None, 10=1 reference, 15=2 references, 20=3+ references. References must include client name, contact person, details, service description, and signed letters on official letterheads. Delivery time (40% weight). SAWS reserves the right to exclude non-compliant bidders. Payment terms: 30 days from invoice receipt unless otherwise agreed. Supplier Performance Management: Successful bidders must conclude a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with SAWS, including a scorecard for performance measurement. Indemnity: Bidders must indemnify SAWS against third-party claims for patent, trademark, or design infringement. Contract may be cancelled if: needs change, funds are unavailable, no acceptable tenders, or material irregularities occur.
