All personnel on NRF sites must: Obtain safety induction; comply with OHS Act and site instructions; wear PPE (closed shoes, hard hats, height safety gear, high-vis vests); obey restricted access/speed limit signage. Contractor responsibilities: Maintain a compliant health and safety plan; provide valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing (validity must not expire during contract); furnish Compensation Commissioner registration number; enter into Section 37.2 agreement (OHS Act); accept liability for Act contraventions; ensure all personnel (including subcontractors) submit signed indemnity forms before site entry. NRF manages compliance and may penalize non-performance.

Contract is once-off supply with no extensions. Service provider obligations: Exercise reasonable skill, care, and diligence; deliver during normal working hours (Mon-Fri, 08h30-17h00, excluding public holidays); comply with all applicable legislation; submit reports as requested; correspond only with NRF. Communication must be in writing (mail/email), include contract/purchase order numbers, and be verified if numbers are missing. NRF may cancel the bid prior to award if: no longer required, no acceptable bids, material irregularities, or insufficient funds/market-related prices. Performance levels: Delivery completeness checked against purchase order; no payment for unsatisfactory deliveries. Contract governed by National Treasury’s General Conditions of Contract (GCC) with Special Conditions prevailing in conflicts.
