Supply and delivery of industrial heavy duty steel lockers – government tender in northern cape

Submissions must be made via the e-Tender portal (https://www.etenders.gov.za/). Quotes must be in PDF format (MS Word, Excel, or images are not accepted) and must be on a company letterhead. Late submissions will be rejected. All applicable taxes must be included in the total price.

The tender follows an 80/20 preference point system, where 80 points are allocated to price and 20 points to specific goals as per the PPPFA 2022. Bidders must provide a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit to claim preference points.

Requirements include: 80 units of 2-tier/2-door heavy-duty steel lockers (min 1800mm H x 300mm W x 450mm D, louvered doors, grey powder coated, 12-month warranty); 160 units of 30mm padlocks (min 2 keys each); 40 units of heavy-duty metal storage boxes (min 1000mm L x 595mm W x 460mm H, dual hasp/staple, reinforced lid, grey or blue powder coated, 12-month warranty). Detailed data sheets for all items are mandatory.

Only firm prices are accepted. All delivery costs must be included in the bid price. The quotation must include a breakdown of sub-total, VAT, and grand total.

Mandatory documents: Valid Tax Clearance/SARS PIN, valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal account/lease agreement (not older than 3 months), completed MBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD 8 (Declaration of past SCM practices), MBD 9 (Certificate of Independent Proposal Determination), MBD 6.1 (Preference points claim), CSD registration proof, and company registration documents with director ID copies. Bidders must not be in the service of the state or blacklisted by National Treasury.
