Supply and delivery of valves as per the following specifications: 1) Valve Gate Copper Alloy 50mm Non-Rising Spindle, Female to Female Threaded, SANS 776 Approved (Qty: 100). 2) Valve Air Release 150mm Double Acting PN16 (Qty: 20). 3) Valve Air Release 100mm Double Acting PN16 (Qty: 50). 4) Valve Gate Copper Alloy 25mm Non-Rising Spindle, Female to Female Threaded, SANS 776 Approved (Qty: 150). 5) Tee 90° Steel Equal 80mm Shouldered, Fusion Bonded Powdered Epoxy Coated to Johannesburg Water specifications, complying with SANS 815 (Qty: 50). Valves must be manufactured locally. Johannesburg Water Technical Team will inspect valves during manufacturing; notify them 48 hours prior to inspection. Attach manufacturer datasheet.

Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience and qualifications. Competitors are defined as any individual or organization that: (a) has been requested to submit a bid, (b) could potentially submit a bid based on qualifications, or (c) provides the same goods/services as the bidder.

Valves must comply with Johannesburg Water specifications and SANS standards (776, 815). Technical inspection by Johannesburg Water during manufacturing is mandatory. Notify the Technical Team 48 hours prior to inspection. Attach manufacturer datasheet for verification.

Quotation validity: 60 days.

Quotation validity: 60 days. Total quotation value must include all applicable taxes. Submit proof of municipal rates and taxes not older than 90 days and not in arrears for more than 90 days. Ensure all pricing is exclusive of VAT but total quotation is inclusive of all taxes.

Mandatory documents: 1) Original valid Tax Clearance Certificate or valid SARS PIN. 2) Valid B-BBEE certificate or compliant sworn affidavit (non-compliant affidavits score zero). 3) Municipal rates and taxes clearance (not older than 90 days in arrears). 4) Signed Declaration of Interest form (MBD 4). 5) Declaration of Bidder’s past supply chain management practices (MBD 8). 6) Certificate of Independent Bid Determination (MBD 9). 7) Proof of CSD registration or MAAA Supplier Number. 8) Preference points claim form (MBD 6.1). 9) Company registration documents with ID copies of directors/shareholders. Additional requirements: Quotations must be on company letterhead. No bids from persons in the service of the state or blacklisted entities. Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable) must be properly signed. All MBD forms must be duly completed and signed. Submit valid lease agreement or municipal account statement not older than 3 months.

Specific goal: SMME (EME or QSE) with 51% or more black ownership by Black People. Submit valid B-BBEE certificate or compliant sworn affidavit.

Bid is subject to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act of 2000, Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022, and General Conditions of Contract (GCC).

Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals as per PPPFA 2022.
