• Bid documents are available for a non-refundable fee of R 1,322.62 (VAT inclusive). Proof of payment must be attached to your submission.
• Documents can be purchased on weekdays from 07:30 to 15:30 at the SCM offices, corner of 3 Halite and Gold Street, Carletonville, 2499, or electronically via the eTenders portal and Merafong City Local Municipality website.
• Submit your bid in a sealed envelope, externally endorsed with the relevant bid number and description.
• Deposit the sealed bid into Bid Box 1 at the Revenue Section, corner Halite and Gold Street, Carletonville, between 07:30 and 16:00.
• Bids will be opened publicly immediately after the closing time.
• Late, incomplete, unsigned, pencil-written, or bids submitted by fax/email will not be accepted.
• You must use the original bid documents provided by the municipality.
• Bids must remain valid for 90 working days.

• Proof of payment for the bid document (R 1,322.62 VAT inclusive) must be attached.

Companies must be registered on the CSD database; must meet functionality threshold (70/100); must not have municipal accounts in arrears >90 days; must submit all required compliance documents; bids must be submitted in original municipality-provided documents in sealed, endorsed envelopes.

• The municipality seeks to appoint a panel of service providers to supply travel agency services for a period of three (3) years.

• Companies must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and submit a CSD report not older than 3 months.
• Submit a municipal account for rates and taxes (for both company and directors listed on the CK) not owing for more than 90 days. If the municipal account is not in your name, provide a copy of the lease agreement with proof of payment for 3 months from the bank (no statements).
• Provide certified copies of Identity Documents for all shareholders/owners/partners registered on the CK forms.
• Submit copies of Company Registration documents (CK1).
• Attach a valid tax PIN certificate.
• Disclose any family or business relationships with government officials.
• Disclose any other ownership interests by directors or shareholders in related companies.
• Failure to comply with any condition will result in immediate disqualification.

• CSD registration and a recent CSD report (not older than 3 months).
• Municipal account or lease agreement with proof of payment for rates and taxes.
• Certified IDs for all shareholders/owners/partners.
• Company registration documents (CK1).
• Disclosure of relationships with government officials.
• Disclosure of other ownership interests in related companies.

• Minimum functionality score of 70/100 required to proceed.
• Evaluation occurs in two stages: compliance check followed by functionality assessment.
• 80/20 preference point system: 80 points for price, 20 points for specific goals.
