Must demonstrate capability via mandatory submissions: portfolio of 6 large-format printing projects, CVs proving 3+ years graphic design experience, 3 signed reference letters. 3. Must comply with all Occupational Health and Safety requirements on-site. 4. Must submit a valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. 5. Must not be listed in the Register for Tender Defaulters/Restricted Suppliers. 6. Pricing must be inclusive of all costs (VAT, permits, equipment).

Scope of Work:

• Design, printing, removal, and installation of large-format banners at three Iziko museum sites: Iziko Slave Lodge (ISL), Iziko South African Museum (ISAM), and Iziko South African National Gallery (ISANG).
• Specific tasks include:

• Deinstallation of existing banners.
• Obtaining necessary permits from the City of Cape Town for sidewalk use.
• Design, printing, and installation of replacement banners.
• Replacement of tension strips and adhesives.
• Removal and replacement of vinyl stickers.

• Final deliverables include:

• Print-ready artwork (JPEG, PNG, PDF).
• Editable design files (Canva Open format).
• Digital versions for web and social media.
• Proofs for approval prior to final print.

• All buildings involved are heritage buildings.
• The appointed service provider is responsible for all Occupational Health and Safety compliance for their staff on-site.
• Costs for cherry picker/hoist and/or scaffolding must be included in the installation costs.

Mandatory Submission Requirements:

• Portfolio: Evidence of at least 6 relevant projects demonstrating large-format printing experience.
• CVs: CVs of key personnel proving a minimum of 3 years' graphic design experience.
• Reference Letters: 3 signed reference letters from previous clients on official letterhead with contact details.

• Complete the provided pricing schedule table with item descriptions, quantities, and prices including VAT.
• The total evaluated bid price is the sum of items 1 to 6 and will be used for the 80/20 price evaluation.
• Attach a detailed breakdown of pricing assumptions, resource categories, and rates.

• Bidders must attach a detailed breakdown of assumptions, resource categories, and rates used to prepare their pricing.

Mandatory Administrative Documents Required:

1. Central Supplier Database (CSD) report showing supplier number, company details, and tax status verification.
2. Detailed pricing structure on company letterhead, inclusive of VAT.
3. Valid B-BBEE certificate or a sworn affidavit.
4. Signed RFQ document.

Mandatory Experience & Qualification Evidence:

• Portfolio: Submit evidence of at least 6 relevant projects demonstrating experience in large-format printing.
• CVs: Submit CVs of key personnel showing a minimum of 3 years' graphic design experience.
• Reference Letters: Submit 3 signed reference letters from previous clients on client letterhead with contact details.

General Compliance:

• False declarations in SBD forms (like SBD 4 and SBD 6.1) will lead to disqualification.
• All declared information will be verified against available documents, including CSD reports.

• The appointed service provider is fully responsible for all Occupational Health and Safety compliance requirements for their staff while on-site at Iziko Museums.
• This includes safety during installation work on heritage buildings.

• Bidders must declare their company type (e.g., Partnership, (Pty) Ltd, Sole Proprietor) by ticking the applicable box in the SBD forms.

• The 80/20 preference point system applies.
• Evaluation proceeds only after mandatory compliance is passed.
• General principles state Iziko reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, withdraw the RFQ, and that a formal contract requires a written agreement beyond mere offer and acceptance.
