• Bidders must be registered on Drakenstein Municipality’s supplier database to conduct business with the municipality.
• Tax compliance: Tax status requirements as per MBD 1 (Part B) must be met. No contract will be awarded to a bidder not deemed tax compliant at the date of award.
• The bid is subject to the general conditions of contract (GCC) and special conditions for bidding.
• Bidders must comply with all responsiveness criteria as stipulated in the tender document.

• Bids must be submitted only on the municipality-provided documentation.
• Bids must remain valid for a minimum of 120 days after closing.
• Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, emailed, or late tenders will not be accepted.
• The Council reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any bid, and to accept any part of a bid.

• The bid is subject to the general conditions of contract (GCC) and special conditions for bidding.

• Tax compliance as per MBD 1 (Part B) is mandatory; non-compliant bidders will not be awarded a contract.
