Submit a completed and signed tender document (including Form of Offer and Acceptance) with all required supporting documents in a sealed envelope. The envelope must clearly display: tenderer’s name and address, tender number (262G/2025/26), tender description, tender box number (230), and closing date. Deposit the sealed envelope into Tender Box 230 at the Tender & Quotation Boxes Office, 2nd Floor (Concourse Level), Civic Centre, 12 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town before 10:00 on 06 July 2026. If the tender is too large for the box or the box is full, request alternative instructions at the public counter (Tender Distribution Office). Required returnable documents include: Schedule F.5 (Declaration of Interest for State Employees), Schedule F.6 (Conflict of Interest Declaration), Schedule F.10 (Proposed Deviations and Qualifications by Tenderer), and Schedule F.13 (Information to be Provided with the Tender). Non-compliance with submission format or missing documents may lead to disqualification. Verbal communications during the process are not binding; only written communications from the CCT Director: Supply Chain Management or nominee are official.

Open to all legally constituted entities (companies, close corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, consortia, sole proprietors, individuals). The CCT will evaluate tenders based on compliance with: CCT SCM Policy, applicable laws, and submission of all required returnable documents. The CCT intends to appoint two tenderers per item, preferably from different manufacturers. The highest-scoring tenderer will be the Main Contractor; the second-highest (or highest from an alternative manufacturer) will be the Alternative Contractor. If the Main Contractor fails to meet delivery or specification requirements, orders may be redirected to the Alternative Contractor. Tenderers must: be registered on the CCT Supplier Database and National Treasury CSD; avoid conflicts of interest; declare any potential conflicts; and have the capacity to deliver.

Scope: Manufacture, testing, supply, and delivery of Large Frame Moulded Case Circuit Breakers. Contract period: 36 months from commencement date. The CCT reserves the right to appoint two tenderers per item (Main Contractor and Alternative Contractor). If the Main Contractor fails to meet delivery or specification requirements, orders may be redirected to the Alternative Contractor. The CCT may place orders with the Alternative Contractor during a Default process or if the Main Contractor is formally placed in Default. Purchase Orders will initially be placed with the Main Contractor.

Tender fee: R200 (non-refundable, payable to City of Cape Town for hard copies; not applicable for website downloads). Required pro-forma financial documents: Performance Security/Guarantee (Annexure C), Advance Payment Guarantee (Annexure D). Contract Price Adjustment provisions are outlined in Schedule F.1. Payment terms and guarantees must comply with the pro-forma documents provided. Tenderers must ensure all financial submissions are complete and signed.
