Quote validity and pricing: Quotations must be valid for 90 days from the closing date IPA. Prices must be quoted inclusive of VAT (if VAT-registered), on the bidder's letterhead, and reflect a cost breakdown. No amendments are allowed after the closing date; the SIU reserves the right to correct arithmetic errors.
SIU Integrity Screening: Award is subject to the bidder passing SIU's Internal Integrity Unit screening and/or State Security Agency vetting. Failure to pass may result in the bid not being awarded regardless of points scored.
Subcontracting and Black ownership: If subcontracting is intended, the bidder must indicate the percentage, subcontractor's name, and B-BBEE status. Additional specific goals points (2 points) are available for more than 50% Black ownership; bidders must claim and substantiate accordingly.
