• Submit bids in person to the sanparks bid box in pretoria; electronic submissions are not accepted. • All bids must use the official sanparks forms, completed in black ink, signed and include all required returnable documents (sbd 1, sbd 3.1, Sbd 4, b‑bee certificate, csd registration, financial capacity evidence, cvs, etc.). • Provide uk‑size garments that meet sans/sabs textile standards, with approved material certifications and sanparks‑approved samples before bulk production; first order within 12 weeks, subsequent orders within 8 weeks. • Demonstrate financial capacity (r5 m for service uniforms, r1 m for traffic enforcement, r3 m for footwear) and be registered on the central supplier database with valid tax compliance status. • Attend the compulsory virtual clarification meeting on 24 feb 2026 (registration opens 10:00 AM) and ensure attendance is recorded; late entry results in disqualification. • Maintain bid validity for 180 days with firm pricing; provide monthly progress reports and allow sanparks site visits and independent quality checks. • Comply with all relevant legislation (PPPFA, pppa, popia, OHSA, etc.) And submit a verified b‑bee level verification certificate or sworn affidavit.

Bids must be delivered in person to the SANParks bid box at 643 Leyds Street, Muckleneuk, Pretoria (Main Gate – Tender Box); electronic or emailed submissions are not accepted.

A compulsory virtual clarification meeting is on 24 February 2026 at 11:00 am (registration opens at 10:00 am) via Microsoft Teams – attendance is recorded and mandatory.
Bids remain valid for a minimum of 180 days from the closing date; all pricing must be firm for that period.
Failure to provide any of the required documents or to comply with the submission instructions may result in automatic disqualification.

Scope: Manufacture, supply and deliver ranger uniforms for a 5‑year period across three categories – Service/Field uniform, Traffic Law Enforcement uniform and Footwear.
All garments must be produced in UK sizes only and comply with relevant SANS/SABS textile standards (material certification, minimum thickness, colour fastness, double‑stitched seams, etc.).
Service/Field uniform: Dark Green, 50 % polyester/50 % cotton, 240‑260 g/m², double‑stitched seams, labelled with size/fibre content, recyclable packaging.
Camouflage uniform: 67 % polyester/33 % cotton twill, approved SANParks pattern, UK sizes, same workmanship standards.
Footwear and PPE must meet applicable safety standards (impact, slip, puncture resistance, flame resistance, high‑visibility, etc.).
Samples and material certificates must be approved by SANParks before bulk production; first order to be delivered within 12 weeks, subsequent orders within 8 weeks.
Supplier must provide washing and care instructions and ensure all items are properly packaged, labelled and delivered to designated SANParks sites.
Monthly progress reports to the Uniform Coordinator/Manager; SANParks may conduct site visits and independent quality checks.

Pricing must be submitted on the official Pricing Schedule (SBD 3.1) and be firm for the 180‑day bid validity period.
No specific performance bond or guarantee is mentioned; however, the successful bidder will be required to sign the contract form (SBD 7) and comply with SANParks payment terms as set out in the contract.
Proof of financial capacity is required (credit facility or cash flow evidence) – R5 million for Service/Field uniform, R1 million for Traffic Law Enforcement, R3 million for Footwear (as per clause 7.1 (3)).
All pricing must be in South African Rand and include any applicable taxes.

Supplier must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide the CSD number.
Tax compliance: submit SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or printed TCS certificate; each consortium member must provide its own TCS.
B‑BEE: submit a verified B‑BEE Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit (minimum level 150 points).
No bids from persons in the service of the State or companies with directors who are State officials.
Provide company registration documents (CIPC), proof of capacity (title deed/lease and equipment list), and reference checks as required.
Comply with all applicable legislation – PPPFA, PPPA, POPIA, OHSA, National Road Traffic Act, Designs Act, Merchandise Marks Act, and relevant SANS standards.
