Submit bid response documents in a sealed envelope. Deposit into Bid Box No. 04 at PRASA Offices, 65 Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Greyville, 4001, Durban Station. Bidders must sign the closing/submission register upon delivery. Late bids will not be accepted. Do not re-type official forms.

Evaluation follows a three-stage process: Stage 1A (Mandatory Requirements: Organizational experience in signalling/electronic equipment repairs and personnel experience via CVs), Stage 1B (Other Mandatory Requirements: Completed documentation, signed register, JV agreement if applicable, valid SARS PIN, and CSD number), and Stage 2/3 (Price and Specific Goals). Price is weighted at 80 points and Specific Goals at 20 points (B-BBEE Level 1 or 2, and Black Youth Owned).

Service provider required for repairs of S1 equipment in the KZN region on an as-and-when-required basis. Contract duration is 36 months or until a value of R1,000,000 (VAT inclusive) is reached, whichever occurs first. Deliveries to be made to Signals Department, PRASA KZN Clairwood. Contractors must provide detailed reports for all repairs performed.

Prices must be quoted in South African Rand on a fixed-price basis, inclusive of all taxes. Bidders must use the provided Bill of Quantities format. Payment terms are 30 days from receipt of a correct tax invoice.

Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD). Must provide a valid SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN. Must disclose any Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) or Prominent Influential Persons (PIP) involvement. Must provide proof of authority for the signatory (e.g., company resolution).
