Submit proposals in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the tender number 'NKTVET/2026/05/01' and the title 'Panel of Legal Services'. Bids must be deposited into the tender box at the Central Office, 06 Corner Haig & Northey Street, Emalahleni, 1035. Late submissions will be disqualified. Do not use correction fluid or erasable ink in the document. All pages must be initialed, and the bid must be submitted as a complete set of original documents.

The evaluation follows a two-stage process: 1) Functionality (minimum threshold of 75 points required to proceed) and 2) Price and B-BBEE/Specific Goals. Functionality scoring: Company Experience (50 points), Key Personnel (30 points), Company Profile (5 points), and Locality (15 points).

The college is establishing a panel of attorneys for a 3-year period to provide services including: Labour Law (dispute resolution, CCMA/Labour Court matters), Contracting (drafting/vetting), Litigation (Magistrates/High Court), Commercial/Corporate Law, Legal Research, Conveyancing, and Construction/Engineering Law. Successful firms will be assigned work via purchase order as needed.

Bidders must complete the provided pricing schedule. A non-refundable fee of R300.00 is required for the tender document (ABSA Bank, Account: 4087908300, Branch: 632005). Reference must be the company name or bid number. Fees for assignments may be negotiated.

Mandatory documents: CSD summary report (not older than 3 months), valid certified copy of Letter of Good Standing (COIDA), valid certified copy of Fidelity Fund Certificate, valid certified copy of Law Society of South Africa registration, Board Resolution (if applicable), and completed SBD 1, 4, 8, and 9 forms. Company registration documents (CK) and certified ID copies of directors are required.
