Bids must be submitted on the municipality's official bid documentation, which must remain valid for at least 120 days after closing.

• Submission channel: deposit the sealed envelope into tender box 1 in the foyer of the Civic Centre, Berg River Boulevard, Paarl, 7620.
• Tender box hours: Mondays to Thursdays 08:00–16:45, Fridays 08:00–15:30, excluding weekends and public holidays.
• Envelope must be clearly marked with the bid number; failure to do so invalidates the bid.
• Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mailed or late bids will not be accepted.
• Bids will be opened publicly at the Civic Centre at 10:15 on the closing date.
• The municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest, only or any bid and may accept any part of a bid.
• The successful bidder must complete and sign a written contract form.

Preference point system: 80/20 under the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022 (Government Gazette No. 47452) and Drakenstein Municipality's Supply Chain Management and Preferential Procurement policies.

Bidders must be registered on Drakenstein Municipality's supplier database to conduct business with the municipality.

• Tax compliance: bidders must comply with the tax status requirements of MBD 1 (Part B); no contract will be awarded to a bidder not deemed tax compliant at the date of award.
• The bid is subject to the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and special conditions for bidding.

Bids must be submitted on the municipality's official documentation and remain valid for at least 120 days after closing.

• Submission must be in a sealed envelope marked with the bid number, placed in tender box 1 before closing time; failure invalidates the bid.
• Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mailed or late bids are not accepted.
• The municipality may reject any bid and may accept any part of a bid.

Bidders must be registered on Drakenstein Municipality's supplier database.

• Tax compliance as per MBD 1 (Part B) is mandatory; non-compliant bidders will not be awarded the contract.
