• Connectivity (Bluetooth/USB/Wi‑Fi) and data‑management software compatibility with SA systems (e.g., TIER.Net).
• Power and environmental requirements, training needs.
• Service and support model in South Africa (turn‑around time, local language support).
• Additional requirements: scalability, lead times for city vs rural clinics, supply‑chain capacity for all nine provinces, cost per test and device, warranty, post‑warranty terms, quality‑assurance and proficiency‑testing programmes, local correlation studies.
