B-BBEE points: Level 1 = 10, Level 2 = 9, Level 3 = 8, Level 4 = 6, Level 5 = 4, Level 6 = 3, Level 7 = 2, Level 8 = 1, Non-compliant = 0. Locality points: Within Prince Albert Municipality = 10, Central Karoo District (outside municipality) = 5, Western Cape (outside district) = 5, Outside Western Cape = 0. Scope: Supply or modification of an electrical services department bakkie canopy. Two options: (1) Modification of existing canopy, (2) Supply of new canopy. Bidders must specify prices (incl. VAT) for each option in the pricing schedule (MBD 3.1). Deliverables must meet municipal specifications as detailed in Bid Specifications (Part B). Pricing must be submitted in ZAR, inclusive of VAT, for both options (modification of existing canopy and supply of new canopy). Quotation/pricing schedule must be on the bidder’s official letterhead. Bids must remain valid for 90 days after closing. Payment terms and bonds/guarantees (if any) are subject to the General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and Special Conditions of Contract (SCC).

Mandatory: CSD registration (submit CSD report). Tax Compliance: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or TCS Pin (SARS) must be submitted; non-compliance disqualifies the bid. B-BBEE: Submit valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (10 points allocated; failure to submit = 0 points). CIDB registration (if applicable). CIPC company registration documents. Municipal accounts: Submit proof of municipal rates/taxes compliance for bidder and all directors (accounts must not be in arrears >3 months; arrangements for settlement must be documented if applicable). Lease agreement or affidavit required if premises are rented or not owned.
