Scope: Urgent replacement of a faulty underground electrical cable at Perseus (Dealesville area, near Eskom substation). Work includes: (a) conduct site visit, assess current installation, test cable, and submit quotation; (b) cut cable and prepare 2 joints; (c) trench 120m to bury the cable; (d) test cable in the presence of a Broadband Infraco representative for acceptance; (e) handover to Broadband Infraco, who will request Eskom to switch. Materials required: 4-Core cable (25mm, EW/600/100V, SANS 150/SWA 25mm X4C FR) and 2 x Polyurethane joint kits (complete). OHSA compliance is mandatory; safety file for the recommended bidder must be approved by Broadband Infraco before work commences.

Broadband Infraco standard conditions of purchase apply. No services or goods may be delivered before receipt of an official Purchase Order. Payment processes commence only after contract conditions are met and an approved invoice is received. Invoices are paid on the last day of the calendar month following receipt. Broadband Infraco may award the contract in part or whole to one or more providers. Contracts may be terminated for fraud, non-compliance, or breach, with potential restrictions from conducting business with the public sector for up to 10 years and possible criminal prosecution.
