Scope: Supply, delivery, off-loading, servicing, removal, and disposal of 6m³ solid waste skip bins on an as-and-when-required basis for 8 weeks (2 months) at 5 Johannesburg Water Wastewater Treatment Works (Bushkoppie, Ennerdale, Goudkoppies, Northern, Olifantsvlei). Requirements: - Provide sufficient trucks for lifting/removal of 6m³ steel skip bins to registered Class A (hazardous) and Class B (non-hazardous) landfills. - Compliance with National Environmental Management Waste Act and Johannesburg Water operational standards. - For each serviced bin, submit: signed service slips/waste manifests (driver + process controller), weighbridge slips, and safe disposal certificates to respective works managers. - Provide an assistant to the truck operator during delivery/removal. Operational rules: - No spillages allowed during handling/transportation. - Immediate cleanup/treatment of any spillages and report to Works Manager. - Replace removed bins immediately with empty ones. - Incident Management Plan and Emergency Preparedness Procedures must be in place. - Johannesburg Water reserves the right to cancel the contract for non-compliance with City of Johannesburg By-laws or environmental legislation. Estimated monthly quantities: 294 skip bin services, 18 bin rentals, 294 tons disposal. Bill of Quantities (BOQ 01 for Class A, BOQ 02 for Class B) must be fully completed.

Pricing must be firm (non-firm prices rejected). Total quotation value must include all applicable taxes (VAT, PAYE, income tax, UIF, SDL). Pricing schedule (MBD 3.1) must be submitted with unit prices and totals. Offers must be valid for 60 days from closing date. Delivery costs must be included in bid price. Separate pricing schedules required if different delivery points affect pricing. Payment terms subject to Johannesburg Water’s Supply Chain Policy.
