Submissions must be made via the National Treasury E-tender portal (https://www.etenders.gov.za/). Quotations must be on company letterhead and submitted in PDF format (MS Word, Excel, or images are not accepted). Ensure all MBD forms (4, 8, 9, and 6.1) are completed and signed. Failure to include all applicable taxes will lead to disqualification.

The tender follows an 80/20 preference point system, where 80 points are allocated to price and 20 points to specific goals as per the PPPFA 2022 regulations.

The scope involves the maintenance and servicing of various gym equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers, rowing machines, bikes, and weight benches. Requirements include: 1) Proven experience in gym equipment maintenance; 2) Three reference templates for work completed in the last 3 years; 3) Competency certificate or qualification in gym equipment maintenance. The provider must supply and install parts, provide a record of activity, and submit a report with recommendations for future maintenance or replacement.

Only firm prices will be accepted. The total quotation value must be inclusive of all applicable taxes. A pricing schedule must be completed as per the provided template.

Mandatory documents include: Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN, valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates and taxes statement (not older than 3 months), proof of CSD registration (MAAA number), company registration documents with ID copies of directors, and signed MBD forms (4, 8, 9, and 6.1).
