Submission method: bids must be delivered in the bid box at the biodiversity centre, pretoria national botanical garden, 2 cussonia avenue, brummeria, pretoria, before the closing time. Closing time: 11:00 on 18 november 2026. Late bids are not considered. Bids must be submitted on the official forms provided (not to be re-typed). Returnable documents (all must be completed, signed and submitted): - sbd 1 (invitation to bid): covers bidder and contact details, signed as the offer cover page. - Sbd 3.1 (Pricing schedule – firm prices): firm prices only; non-firm or exchange-rate-linked prices are rejected. If delivery points affect pricing, a separate schedule per point is required. - Sbd 4 (bidder's disclosure): discloses any relationship between the bidder, its directors/shareholders, and the state or the procuring institution. A false disclosure disqualifies the bid. - Sbd 6.1 (Preference points claim): claims preference points for specific goals under the 80/20 system. - Sbd 9: included in sbd 4 declaration, certifies independent bid determination and NO collusion. - Proof of authority to sign (e.g. Company resolution) must be submitted. - B-bbee verification certificate or sworn affidavit for emes/qses. - Tax compliance: a valid SARS tax compliance status pin or certificate, or a csd number if NO pin. - Foreign suppliers must complete the questionnaire for foreign bidders. Disqualification risks: - late submission or delivery to the wrong address. - Any official form missing, unsigned, or re-typed. - Failure to provide any required tax compliance particulars may render the bid invalid. - Bidders who are persons in the service of the state, or companies/close corporations with such directors/members, are excluded.
