Submission Guidelines

Bids must be delivered by the closing date and time (21 May 2026, 11:00 AM). Late bids will not be considered. Use official forms provided (do not re-type). Submit completed SBD1 (Invitation to Bid), pricing schedule, and SBD4 (Declaration of Interest). SBD6.1 (Preference Claim Certificate) must be accompanied by a B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or Sworn Affidavit. Successful bidders must sign SBD7 (Contract Form). No alternative offers will be accepted. Bidders may not contact SANParks staff other than the designated officials (Meagan van Neel or Siyanda Myataza).
Evaluation Criteria

Mandatory requirements: CIDB Grade 1GB minimum, Letter of Good Standing (COID), and proof of CSD registration. Bidders must submit at least three company references for similar projects and two trade-specific references (tiling, plumbing, electrical). Minimum trade qualifications: NQF Level 4 or recognised Trade Certificate for tiler, plumber, and electrician. B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or Sworn Affidavit required for preference points. Failure to submit mandatory documents results in disqualification. Scope: Demolition, supply/installation of finishes/fittings, plumbing, sanitaryware, electrical/lighting, testing, commissioning, and handover. Work must remain operational where required. Specifications: Floor/wall tiling (ceramic, 600x600mm, non-slip, white/off-white, water-resistant grout). Sanitaryware: front-flush toilets with heavy-duty seats, commercial-grade. Basins: square modern design with granite vanity tops (50mm, polished). Taps/mixers/shower fittings: black matt powder-coated, coastal-grade.
