• Scope: Supply, delivery, branding of a yellow vehicle fleet and provision of training under a five-year finance maintenance lease agreement.
• Fleet includes vehicles such as backhoe loaders, 5t dropside water bodies, tipper trucks, and fire apparatus units.
• All vehicles must comply with NAAMSA classifications and have approved aftermarket workshops within the Northern Cape.
• Delivery to Kareeberg Municipality, 10 Hanau Street, Carnarvon, 8925.
• Vehicles must be supplied with standard tools, owner's manuals, service schedules, and meet specific technical specifications detailed in the document.
• Service workshops must be within approximately 500km of the Municipal offices.

• Variation orders: Changes up to 20% of the original contract value may be instructed without price escalation.
• Packing must prevent damage during transit, considering remoteness and handling facilities.
• Delivery must be made in accordance with the contract terms.

• Goods supplied must conform to standards mentioned in the bidding documents.
• Inspections, tests, and analyses may be conducted; costs borne by the supplier if goods are non-compliant.
• Pre-bidding testing is for the bidder's account.
• The purchaser may inspect the supplier's records and have them audited.

• Pricing schedule includes items such as 5t Dropside Body, Tipper Trucks, Front End Loaders, and Double Cab Fire Brigade vehicles.
• Prices must be all-inclusive; specify if otherwise.
• Municipal rates and taxes: Bidders must provide a certified copy of their municipal account and not be in arrears.

• Bidders must clearly propose various financing options and repayment models.
• Pricing must be all-inclusive, covering delivery, initial registration, and licensing costs.
• Prices quoted in the bid must not vary except as authorised in bid validity extensions.
• Payment terms: Payment will be made in Rand, within 30 days of invoice submission.
• The successful bidder is liable for stamp duties and other costs related to contract establishment.

• Compulsory Documentation: Valid original Income Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS PIN, unless registered on the Municipality's Accredited Supplier Database with a certificate on record.
• Certified copy of the bidder's municipal account for the month preceding tender closure.
• Bidders or directors in arrears with municipal rates/taxes for more than three months will be disqualified.
• Authorised Signatory: A copy of the board resolution authorising the signatory must be attached.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration is required; the Municipality may not award to unregistered suppliers.
• B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit must be submitted to qualify for preference points.

• Penalties for delay: Deductions based on delivered price and prime interest rate per day of delay.
• Termination for default, insolvency, or corrupt practices is permitted.
• Disputes resolved first by mutual consultation, then mediation, and finally through South African courts.
