• Submit all bid documents in the designated bid box at 270 jabu ndlovu street, pietermaritzburg (ground‑floor foyer). • Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder’s name, address, bid number and closing date. • The envelope must be delivered before 15:00 on 17 february 2026; late submissions will be rejected. • NO electronic, fax or post submissions will be accepted. • Upon delivery, the bidder (or courier/driver) must sign the official submission register at reception. • All required returnable schedules and compulsory documents (sections a‑o as listed in the tender) must be completed; incomplete bids will be deemed non‑responsive. • Use the official forms provided – do not re‑type or alter the forms (NO correcting fluid or erasable pen). • Ensure each page of the bid is initialed. • Failure to comply with any of the above may result in disqualification.

- Deliver detailed plans for environmental rehabilitation, water quality improvement, invasive species control and ecosystem restoration. - Provide a public safety and infrastructure improvement plan covering fencing, lighting, CCTV, pathways and universal‑access features. - Develop and implement eco‑tourism, non‑motorised water recreation and event hosting strategies with associated revenue‑sharing models. - Include socio‑economic components such as epwp employment, skills development, smme participation and community programmes. - Submit a comprehensive risk, disaster response and compliance framework, including public liability insurance and renewable energy/ smart‑park solutions. - Achieve at least 60 points in the functionality evaluation and a total score of 80 points to be considered for award.
