Key evaluation aspects include: registration status (must be a registered entity), legal compliance (adherence to South African laws, including procurement and labor regulations), financial standing (demonstrated capability to fulfill the contract, e.g., through guarantees or securities), technical capability (ability to meet manufacturing, testing, and delivery requirements), B-BBEE status (preference may be given to favorable B-BBEE compliance), declaration of conflicts of interest (Schedule F.6), and authorization for deduction of outstanding amounts owed to the City of Cape Town (Schedule F.8).

Scope: Manufacture, testing, supply, and delivery of pole-mounted service distribution, streetlight control, and meter boxes. Contract period: Not exceeding thirty-six (36) months from the date of commencement. Technical specifications and standards are detailed in Section C.5 of the tender document. Bidders must adhere to all specified manufacturing, testing, and delivery requirements.

A non-refundable tender fee of R200 is payable to the City of Cape Town (CCT) for a hard copy of the tender document. This fee does not apply to website downloads.
