Late submissions (after 15h00) or non-compliant submissions will be rejected. Ensure all alterations are initialled and no correcting fluid is used.

Two-stage evaluation: 1) Mandatory requirements: SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure) must be completed. 2) Price (80 points) and Preferential Goals (20 points). Price scoring uses the 80/20 system: Ps = 80(1 - (Pt - Pmin)/Pmin), where Pt = tender price, Pmin = lowest acceptable tender price. Preferential goal: 20 points for HDI (at least 51% black-owned or women-owned). Submit full CSD report as proof. Failure to submit required documentation forfeits preference points.

Contract type: Once-off service delivery. MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) must be provided on delivery. Required chemicals include: Kaput Box, Hatch 5L, NuvoGen 5L, Blue Dye 1L, Round Up 5L, Gladiators 5L, Kilomax 10kg, Actipron 5L, Garlon 5L.

Pricing must be submitted on the official uMngeni-uThukela Water quotation form (SBD 3.1). Prices must be VAT-inclusive and cover all costs (e.g., transport, labour). Each item must be clearly specified with unit price and total. Price Declaration must be completed; discrepancies will default to the Price Declaration total. Payment terms: 30 days after receipt of invoice and delivery note.

Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury’s Central Suppliers Database (CSD). Submit a valid Tax Clearance Verification PIN or CSD MAAA number. Complete SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form). Compliance with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022 is mandatory.
