Silviculture services contract for komatiland forests (3-Year term)

Required returnable documents: Signed Offer and Acceptance, Schedule of Deviations (if any), Witness signatures, and any supporting certificates (e.g., Letter of Good Standing).

Period of three (3) years.

Z9 Contractor’s a. Requirements: (i) A Plan is required for the construction of Plan TSC 31.2 the multipurpose centre.

TSC 31.3 (ii) The Plan is essential for planning,

coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on

the project's progress.

b. Development (i) The anticipated Service Period is as stated in

the Contract Data. Pre-project

implementation contractual obligations

stated in the Contract Data must be

complied with prior to the starting date.

(ii) The Contractor shall Plan his work as per

the provisions contained in the contract.

Key persons (Section 22.1): List of key personnel with ID numbers, job titles, responsibilities, and qualifications; CVs to be attached.

Quality management expectations (Section 40.2): Submit Quality Policy and Plan within 2 weeks of contract date; maintain compliance; corrective actions and final inspections are part of the quality process.

Other ad‑hoc work rates include normal overtime (1.5× rate), Sunday overtime (2× rate), standby, chainsaw wet rate, brushcutter wet rate, lawnmower rate, driver/operator rate, and weekly refuse removal rate.

c. Promotion of other secondary procurement objectives

(i) In the execution of the contract, the Contractor shall report on

the achievements of key performance indicators which promote

a range of secondary procurement objectives including those

relating to local economic development, Broad-based Black

• Contractor must develop and implement a Health & Safety Plan in line with the Construction Regulations 2014 and OHS Act.
• Provide a valid Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund and COIDA certificate.
• Maintain a health‑safety file on‑site; submit to the Service Manager before work commences.
• All personnel must wear approved PPE (safety boots, hard hat, high‑visibility vest, etc.) and complete safety inductions.
• Daily safety records must be kept and submitted as required.

Anti‑corruption (Z20): Contractor must act with good governance and transparency; Client has zero‑tolerance policy; whistle‑blowing details provided; breach may result in immediate termination without liability.

• Evaluation will consider compliance with core NEC4 clauses and the penalties outlined in Options X17 (low‑service damages) and X18 (liability limits).
• Performance against the Contract Local Direct Employment Goal (CLDEG) is scored, with financial penalties for shortfalls.
• Early‑warning register items (OHS, BCEA, performance) must be reported; failure may affect scoring.
• Technical capability, experience in silviculture and fire protection, and transformation targets are also assessed.
