• Design and layout: 70 pages (including cover and back page), considering Johannesburg Water corporate identity. Factor in three (3) drafts for comments and amendments. JW responsible for final sign-off. Hard copy and soft copy (E-version) to be provided for final approval; artwork remains property of JW.
• Editing: Editing and proofreading to ensure consistency of language, style, and appropriate use of language. A4-size cover and back page, 70 pages. Relevant illustrative images for dividing and logos provided by JW.
• Printing: A4 full colour (70 pages), 70 copies to be printed. Back and front cover hardcover laminated gloss finish. Binding and packaging: perfect bound and section sewn wrapped.
• Mandatory requirements:
• Relevant Experience and Portfolio: Bidder must have successfully completed at least three (3) similar publication projects within the last five (5) years and submitted a portfolio with contactable references or reference letters.
• Project Team and Capacity: Bidder must demonstrate a suitably qualified and experienced team with capacity to deliver within agreed timelines.
• Availability and Project Management: Successful bidder must be available to attend ad hoc meetings (virtual or in person) throughout the project and provide a dedicated project manager as primary point of contact until project completion.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Bidder must provide professional editing, proofreading, graphic design and layout services, ensuring all deliverables comply with Johannesburg Water's corporate identity guidelines and undergo quality assurance before submission.
• Ownership, Confidentiality and Turnaround: Bidder must commit to meeting agreed turnaround times, maintaining confidentiality of all Johannesburg Water information, and transferring ownership of all final artwork and editable design files to Johannesburg Water upon completion.
