Supply and delivery of mesh wi‑fi for cape winelands district municipality

The Cape Winelands District Municipality relies on a diverse range of technological tools to

fulfil its requirements. Recognizing the demand for flexible computing solutions, Mesh Wi-Fi

is required to enhance support to the Cape Winelands District Municipality.

3. SCOPE OF WORK/TERMS OF REFERENCE

"Vendor Neutrality Statement: Specifications are performance-based and reference open

standards. Any equivalent device meeting or exceeding these requirements will be

accepted." The service provider must supply Mesh Wi-Fi units as per the specifications

below:

4. PRICING INSTRUCTIONS

4.1 Quotation prices must be VAT inclusive.

4.2 For proper evaluation purposes it is obligatory that the prescribed pricing schedule be

completed in full and signed.

4.3 The prices quoted must include all labour, transport, consumables, disbursements, and all

related costs of rendering the required services as indicated in the scope of work.

4.4 If a bidder stipulates VAT in their pricing schedule and are not registered for VAT, the price

that will be used for evaluation purposes will be the price as submitted. If the bidder is

awarded the contract, and the bidder has not registered as a VAT vendor after the award of

the bid, the municipality will pay the price excluding VAT in line with the Value-Added Tax

Act, 1991 (Act No ).

5. EVALUATION CRITERIA

5.1 The evaluation and award will be based on compliance to the technical criteria and

specifications.

5.2 Proof of technical compliance must be provided before award. A brochure with the technical

requirements must be provided. Failure to submit this with your written price quotation

submission or within a time frame as to be determined by the Cape Winelands District

Municipality will lead to your bid being disqualified.

6. EVALUATION AND AWARD

6.1 The Municipality reserves the right to award to a single service provider.

6.2 One or more of the items may be ordered, and the number of items will be determined

based on the available need and budget.

7. LOGISTICAL REQUIREMENTS

8.1 The successful Supplier/s must supply and deliver the equipment to CWDM, Stellenbosch

within three (3) weeks of receiving the order to do so, or as mutually agreed to timeframes.

8. REMUNERATION

8.2 No upfront payments will be made.

8.3 CWDM has a 30-day payment policy, all invoices submitted for goods delivered will be

verified and submitted accordingly.

8.4 Any fees or remuneration are inclusive of Value Added Tax.
