• Mandatory registrations: Central Suppliers Database (CSD), PSIRA, COIDA.
• Compliance with PSIRA prescribed rates will be verified during evaluation, prior to award, and throughout the contract duration.
• The Department reserves the right not to award to the lowest bidder.
• A detailed risk assessment will be conducted prior to award.

Scope of work:

• Appointment of a security service provider to secure unutilized state-owned properties (buildings) for a period of 9 months.
• Properties: ERF 137 and 138 at 36-37 Ridge Road, Port Shepstone, within the Southern Region.

Financial compliance:

• Bidders must adhere to PSIRA prescribed rates.
• The Department will verify rate compliance during evaluation, prior to award, and throughout the contract duration.

Mandatory compliance:

• Registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Registration with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority).
• Registration with COIDA (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act).
