Specific-goals evidence: identity document and company registration for HDI, female and youth claims; a certified copy or original doctor's letter for a disability claim.
Tax and CSD status: a CSD number and SARS TCS PIN are required, with each consortium, joint venture or sub-contractor party submitting its own TCS certificate, PIN or CSD number; no contract is concluded where tax matters are not in order.
Automatic disqualification: bidders in the service of the state, companies whose directors or close corporation members are in state service, and any bidder listed on the Register for Tender Defaulters or the List of Restricted Suppliers.
Contract conditions: four-month delivery period, 120-day bid validity, SBD 7 contract form signed by the successful bidder, performance security furnished within 30 days of award in the amount set in the Special Conditions of Contract, and penalties at the current prime interest rate for each day of late delivery or non-performance.
