Necsa requires the supply and delivery of four munro l100 large volume air samplers, each operating at a nominal air flow rate of 100 litres per minute with a 240v power supply and 45mm diameter filter paper. Bidders must also quote for four sets of l100 pump vanes if compatible with carbon or other pump vanes. Quotations must be submitted by email before 13 october 2026 at 16:00, and the evaluation follows a two-phase process: a functionality/technical assessment out of 100 points, then the PPPFA 80/20 preference system. The most consequential consideration is meeting the technical specifications and submitting all required documentation, including a valid tax clearance and b-bbee certificate, to avoid disqualification.
Technical specification: Supply four Munro L100 large volume air samplers with a nominal air flow rate of 100 litres per minute, 240V power supply, and 45mm diameter filter paper; also quote for four sets of L100 pump vanes if compatible.
Submission deadline: Quotation must be emailed to [email protected] by 13 October 2026 at 16:00; late submissions are disqualified.
Mandatory documents: Include a valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate (tax pin), SBD 4 Declaration of Interest, B-BBEE certificate or EME affidavit, and a COID Letter of Good Standing if applicable.
Functionality threshold: Bidders must score above the set threshold out of 100 points in the technical/functionality evaluation to progress to the price and preference stage; failure to demonstrate an acceptable technical solution leads to rejection.
Pricing: Prices must be fixed and firm, include all taxes, and cover freight, insurance until acceptance, duty, and disbursements; incomplete quotations may be disqualified.
B-BBEE preference: Proof of B-BBEE status level must be submitted with the bid to claim preference points; otherwise no points are awarded (Level 1 = 20 points, down to non-compliant = 0).
Queries and conduct: All queries must be directed in writing only to Sinovuyo Pani; approaching any other Necsa employee may result in disqualification, and no goods may be delivered without an official purchase order.

Everything South African general contractors need to know about how to write a winning tender proposal without an in-house bid team in gauteng — covering CSD, BBBEE, step-by-step processes, common disqualification mistakes, and how Tenders-SA.org helps you find and win relevant contracts in Gauteng.
A practical guide to using the Tenders-SA Forensic Analysis workbench for supplier audits, department scans, pair analysis, and AI-generated case narratives to identify procurement irregularities.
March 2026 brings a fresh wave of infrastructure and service tenders to Gauteng, but the days of the lone-ranger contractor are fading fast. National Treasury’s new “shared-capacity” rules, quietly slipped into the 2025/26 PFMA circular, mean that bids above R50 million in the General sector must demonstrate local SME participation through a consortium or joint venture (JV). If you’re a small plumber, electrician, painter, or general repair firm in Pretoria or Johannesburg, this is your moment to piggy-back onto the big-ticket work—provided you understand the regulatory hoops first.
How Tenders-SA built a forensic analysis workbench that detects procurement irregularities across 80+ indicators spanning 8 families — from market concentration and single-bidder patterns to OCPO restricted supplier cross-referencing and AI-generated case narratives.
