• Submit tender documents physically into the tender box at New Umzimvubu Local Municipality Offices, 67 Church Street, Emaxesibeni, Eastern Cape, 4735.
• Submission deadline is 12:00 noon on the closing date specified in the project table.
• Tenders must be clearly marked with the project name.
• No couriered, faxed, emailed, or late submissions will be accepted.
• Bid documents are available for free download on the e-tender portal.
• Mandatory returnable documents include properly filled MBD forms 1, 4, 6.1, 8, and 9.
• Failure to submit all mandatory documents will render the bid non-responsive.

CIDB grading 3CE or higher. Must achieve minimum 60% in pre-qualification (company experience 40 points, key personnel experience 40 points, technical capacity 20 points). Must not owe municipal services for more than 90 days. Persons working for the state are not eligible for award. Must be registered on CSD.

• Mandatory documents: SARS tax confirmation with verification pin; copy of company registration/founding statement/CIPC document; originally certified ID copies of managing directors/owners.
• Billing clearance certificate or statement of municipal accounts or affidavit or lease agreement or residential confirmation, accompanied by a declaration that the company and all active directors do not owe municipal services for more than 90 days.
• All documents must be certified within the last 90 days.
• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide confirmation of registration.
• The municipality will not award to any person working for the state.
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT for VAT vendors.

• Pre-qualification: Minimum 60% score required for further evaluation.
