Submit quotations exclusively via the SupplyFlow Portal: https://scmportal.salga.org.za/. Quotations must remain valid for at least 30 days. All Standard Bidding Documents (SBD) forms must be completed in full and submitted with the quotation. Late submissions will not be accepted unless prior written arrangement is confirmed with SALGA. Vendors must verify receipt of their quotation with SALGA. If unable to quote, respond in writing to the sender with the reason(s). Quotations must strictly adhere to the technical specifications; any deviations must be explicitly stated. Clearly indicate the delivery period and provide a valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration number. All prices must be VAT inclusive; if not specified, they will be evaluated as such.

Evaluation is based on a points system. For bids between R2,000 and R50 million: Price accounts for 80 points, B-BBEE Level of Contribution accounts for 20 points (total: 100). For bids above R50 million: Price accounts for 90 points, B-BBEE Level of Contribution accounts for 10 points (total: 100). Additional criteria: Must be a registered supplier on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with verified tax compliance. All required SBD forms must be submitted. Quotation must be valid for at least 30 days. Technical and compliance standards for all items must be met. For designated sectors, local production and content thresholds will be evaluated as per sector-specific minimum requirements.

Scope: Supply and deliver all safety gear to the SALGA National Office. Items required: Reflective vests (Evacuation Team x80, Fire Marshall x20, First Aiders x20) - high-visibility (Orange for Evacuation Team, Yellow for Fire Marshall, Lime Green for First Aiders), branded with 'SALGA Logo' (front) and role-specific text (back), XL size, EN ISO 20471 compliant. Foldaway cones (450mm x12) with high-intensity reflective tape, TC-400 Traffic Cone Reflective Tape Orange compliant. Barricade tape (75mm x 100M x12) in red/white (danger) colors. Megaphones (30W x12) - 800m voice range, 1000m siren range, 17-hour battery life (10 x D-cell), shoulder-held with detachable microphone, 3.5mm AUX input, switchable whistle tone, volume control, stand-mountable. Rechargeable torches (x12) - multiple LED modes (high, low, strobe/SOS), rechargeable Li-ion batteries, water-resistant (IPX4–IPX7), compact with ergonomic grip, plug-in charging, snap-in wall holder. All items must be SABS approved or comply with relevant regulatory standards.

Pricing must be VAT inclusive. If VAT exclusivity is not explicitly stated, prices will be evaluated as VAT inclusive. Total price must be clearly stated in the quotation. Quotation must include delivery period.

Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration number must be provided on the quotation. Tax status will be verified via CSD. B-BBEE Level of Contribution will be evaluated as part of the scoring criteria (20% for bids R2,000–R50M; 10% for bids >R50M). For designated sectors, quotations will be evaluated against minimum thresholds for local production and content as prescribed per sector. All items must comply with SABS or relevant regulatory standards.
