1.1 Any person (natural or juristic) may make an offer or offers in terms of this invitation to bid. In line with the principles of transparency, accountability, impartiality, and ethics as enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Constitution), and further expressed in the various applicable legislation, it is required for the bidder to make this declaration in respect of the details required hereunder.

Quotations received after the closing date and time will not be considered. Returnable forms: SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim), plus proof of specific goals where applicable.

The 80/20 preferential point system applies. Price quotations must remain valid for 30 days after closing. Specific goals for TIA day-to-day procurement may earn points: 50% ownership by historically disadvantaged individuals (5 points, proof: share register/CSD report), 51% ownership by black women (5 points, proof: share register/CSD report), at least one owner with a disability (5 points, proof: physician's letter on letterhead with practice number), at least one owner who is a youth (5 points, proof: certified ID copy). Total specific goals points: 20.

Service required: Kaeser compressor C service/major/overhaul. Per OEM, the service provider must conduct machine total system renewal, safety validation, and internal wear inspection. Machine specification: Screw compressor Aircenter SK 25, Part no: Sk.2, Serial no: 3388, Year model 2013, Power rated 15 kW. Service includes but is not limited to: set filters, element filters, O-rings NBR, V-ribbed belt, check valve DN25, inlet valve DN60, thermostatic valve 65°C, control & vent valve, roller bearings, eco drains, drain and fill sigma fluid (10 litres).

Invoices are paid after delivery of goods and services, within 30 days, as per the National Treasury Act. Price quotations must remain valid for 30 days after closing.

Suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Only Kaeser or a Kaeser authorised distributor with an official letter of authorisation is eligible; the letter is mandatory and must be attached, otherwise the bid is disqualified.
