• Obtain the tender documents from the SCM Unit, 5th Floor, A.S. Chetty Centre, 333 Church Street, Pietermaritzburg (available from 12:00 on 18 May 2026). A non‑refundable fee of R 265.56 (VAT inclusive) must be paid by cash or EFT.
• Complete all required forms (Tender Form, Annexures A‑G, Data Sheets 1‑8) in typed or handwritten form, signed in ink by an authorised representative. No correction fluid is allowed; any corrections must be countersigned.
• Attach a valid Tax Clearance Certificate or a Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN from SARS, and include your CSD Supplier Number/Unique Registration Reference if you are already registered on the Central Supplier Database.
• Provide proof of CIDB grading (if applicable), ECB registration for electrical works, and IOPSA registration for plumbing works where relevant.
• All documents must be sealed in an envelope marked “QUOTATION No. Q12//26” and placed in the Tender Box at Central Stores, 2 Abattoir Road (off Kershaw Street), Pietermaritzburg, no later than 12:00 hrs on Wednesday 27 May 2026. Late submissions will be rejected.
• Failure to attend the compulsory Site Inspection/Tender Briefing (date stated in the tender) or to submit a signed attendance certificate will result in disqualification.

Scope: Supply and install three (3) BLT TBG 35 P gas double‑stage burners (≈ 80‑410 kW each) at Msunduzi Municipality’s Mountain Rise Crematorium, Northdale, Pietermaritzburg.

Deliverables:

• Fully functional gas burners installed and commissioned.
• Compliance with OHS Act and all relevant legislation.
• Detailed implementation plan covering background, experience, project management, approach, phasing, and CVs of key personnel.
• Delivery within 30 working days after award (or as otherwise stipulated).
• Penalty for late delivery: R 500 per calendar day deducted from amounts due.
• All work must be performed under the applicable General Conditions of Contract (GCC 2015) and any CIDB, ECB or IOPSA requirements.

• Prices must be quoted VAT‑inclusive; VAT is deemed included even if not shown.
• Tender fee: R 265.56 (VAT inclusive) per document, payable by cash or EFT.
