Scope: Conduct a comprehensive Ergonomics Risk Assessment for NLC offices nationally. Objectives: Identify ergonomic hazards in office/administrative environments; assess employee exposure to risk factors (awkward postures, repetitive movements, prolonged sitting, poor workstation design, inadequate furniture); evaluate ergonomic suitability of office chairs, desks, computer equipment, screen positioning, keyboard/mouse placement, foot support, lighting, and space constraints; determine compliance with ergonomic principles; recommend short-, medium-, and long-term interventions; support NLC in complying with OH&S regulations. Mandatory work: Physical ergonomics assessment of work areas (office workstations, shared/open-plan spaces, reception, meeting rooms, filing/storage, cleaning/maintenance). Workstation evaluation: chair design, lumbar support, desk height, monitor height, keyboard/mouse positioning, posture, foot support, lighting/glare, space constraints, housekeeping. Employee consultation: gather feedback on discomfort, pain, usability, and common challenges. Risk analysis: assign risk ratings (likelihood/severity), prioritize urgent interventions, identify systemic vs. isolated issues.
