• Submit the bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid description, bid number (08/2/22/93), bidder name and address. • Envelope must be deposited in the bid box at the entrance of Witzenberg Municipal Head Office, 50 Voortrekker Street, Ceres, no later than Monday 16 February 2026 at 10:00. • The bid box is open 24 hours daily; telephonic, fax, email or late submissions are NOT accepted. • Use only the official bid forms supplied; do not re‑type the documentation. • All required documents (checklist, B‑BBEE certificate, proof of locality, tax verification PIN/CSD number, company registration details, signed declaration of interest, and any professional/compliance certificates) must be attached behind the bid document. • Complete the checklist at the back of the bid document and sign all pages in indelible ink. • Failure to meet any of these conditions may result in disqualification.

• Bids are scored on an 80/20 preference point system (total 100 points): - Price: 80 points - B‑BBEE level status: 10 points - Locality of enterprise: 10 points. • The highest total score wins; the lowest price is not automatically accepted. • Bidders must submit a firm price (inclusive of VAT) and must bid for all items in the pricing schedule – partial bids are non‑responsive. • Prices must be valid for at least 90 days (later stated as 120 days) from the closing date. • Evaluation will be performed in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.

• Tables must be 16 mm melamine in American Walnut colour. • Top: 600 mm × 25 mm American Walnut post‑form tops. • Dimensions: Height 750 mm, Depth 600 mm, Length 2 × 2700 mm (item 1) and 10 × 1360 mm (item 2). • Sides must be flush with the top, no recesses. • All edges edged with 2 mm PVC. • Delivery must be made within 30 days of the official order (or as otherwise agreed).

• Prices must be quoted inclusive of VAT and be firm for at least 90 days (120 days stated later). • All delivery costs must be included in the quoted price. • Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. • The successful bidder must provide a performance security (bank guarantee or certified cheque) within 30 days of award, as specified in the Special Conditions of Contract. • Pricing schedule must be completed with firm prices only; non‑firm or exchange‑rate‑linked prices will be rejected.

• Provide a valid Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or CSD number issued by SARS; include tax reference number. • Attach an original or certified copy of the B‑BBEE certificate to claim B‑BBEE points. • Submit proof of locality for the registered office (municipal, bank or SARS address). • Provide company registration number, VAT registration number, and any other industry‑specific registrations. • Bids from persons in the service of the state are prohibited. • All required compliance certificates, professional registrations and the completed declaration of interest must be attached.
