Returnable documents: the issued documents must be returned in the form and order in which they were issued to assist the municipality to expedite adjudication of the bids. O the municipality and the department reserves the right to terminate the contract when the bidder has failed to meet the required standards, remedies in the case of incorrect preferences  if a bidder should be awarded a contract on the basis of wrong information which he/she supplied regarding the preference which he/she claimed, and IT is shown later that the information is incorrect, in addition to any legal impact which IT may have, the municipality will:-  cancel the contract and recover any loss which the municipality and the department may have suffered as a result of having to make less favourable arrangements.  Recover any costs or damages which the municipality and the department may have suffered as a result of the inclusion in the contract., Documents to be submitted together with bid document  csd registration full report (not older than 3 months )  copy of tax clearance certificate and status verification pin from SARS.  company registration certificate.  Certified copies of identity documents of directors or management.  Copy of b-bbee status level verification certificates or certified copies, compulsory documents for evaluation purposes  proof of registration with the national home builders registration council (nhbrc)  proof of registration with CIDB and grading 9gb  proof of registration with seca, saice  professional indemnity insurance of r5 000 000.00  Joint venture agreement and power of attorney (in case of a joint venture)  workmen’s compensation registration certificate in terms of the coida  municipal statement where the company is registered (rates bill and/or proof residence/ lease agreement)  audited annual financial statements (past three 3 years), mandatory objection period all administrative actions and decisions taken by the municipality through its officials may become subject to an appeal process. As such, in terms of section 49 of the municipal supply chain management regulations NO , a period of fourteen (14) days will be set aside to allow for the submission of appeals against the award/ process of making the award to a particular bidder by any interested party. Except in scenarios where the decision of a duly appointed appeal panel sets aside the appointment of the successful bidder as the service provider for this contract, the appointment will then be confirmed by the municipality in writing. Notice of award will be published on the municipal website., Rights to award  okhahlamba local municipality reserve the rights to call for presentations from shortlisted suppliers.  Not to make any award in this bid or accept any proposal submitted.  Award the project to more than one (1) respondent for the same project.  Request further technical/ functional information from any respondent after a closing date.  Verify information and documentation of the respondent(s).  Not to accept any of the bid document submitted.  To withdraw or amend any of the bid conditions by notice in writing to all re- spondents prior to closing of the bid and post award.  If an incorrect award has been made to remedy the matter in any lawful man- ner IT may deem fit., Specification of contract/scope of work description of services required, specification and scope of work bidders to comply strictly with all facets of the specification, methodology and additional information to indicate or emphasize capacity to undertake the required service must be furnished. The okhahlamba local municipality hereby invites bids from suitably qualified and experienced service providers appointment of a service provider to undertake the completion of p1.4 Dra of stage 1, beneficiary administration of p4 of stage 2 and construction of 1250 super structures and vips in nogaga a rural housing project of ward 9 in okhahlamba local municipality for a period of 3 years the successful applicants will be required to sign a tripartite agreement be- tween the okhahlamba local municipality and KZN department of human settlements., As well as assemble a multidisciplinary team that will determine project implementation methodology and costs. The applicant must comply with legislative requirements.
