• Scope: Appointment to a panel for auto electrical services within the Nama Khoi Municipal area for a period of three years.
• The successful bidder will be required to fill in and sign a written contract form (MBD7).
• Key personnel must include a qualified auto electrician; certified proof of qualifications must be attached.
• Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience through reference letters for auto electrical services.

• Experience in auto electrical services is scored based on reference letters: 3 letters (30 points), 2 letters (20 points), 1 letter (10 points).
• Locality is scored: Nama Khoi Municipal Area (40 points), Namakwa District (20 points), Other (0 points).
• Key personnel must include a qualified auto electrician (30 points); certified proof of qualifications must be attached.

• Submit firm prices for all items as per the price schedule.
• Non-compliance with pricing instructions will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
• Arithmetical errors in pricing will be corrected according to specified rules.

• Submit firm prices for all items in the pricing schedule.
• Prices must be submitted in the Contract Form/Price Schedule.
• Arithmetical errors will be corrected: amounts in words govern over figures; line item totals govern over unit rates; the total of prices governs over item totals.

• Mandatory registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). No award will be made to unregistered bidders.
• Submit an original, valid Tax Clearance Certificate from SARS. Each party in a joint venture/consortium must submit a separate certificate.
• Submit a B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit (for EMEs & QSEs) to qualify for preference points.
• Submit a Letter of Good Standing issued in terms of COIDA, confirming registration as an employer.
• Complete and submit all statutory declarations and authorisations (e.g., Declaration of Interest, Certificate of Independent Bid Determination).
• Partnerships/joint ventures/consortiums must submit a partnership agreement and ensure all parties are registered on the municipality's vendor database.
• Bidders must not be listed on the National Treasury’s Register for Tender Defaulters or List of Restricted Suppliers.

• Preference points are determined from B-BBEE status level certificates submitted at closing.
• Sub-contracting more than 25% of contract value to entities with a lower B-BBEE status may result in forfeiture of preference points, unless subcontractors are exempted micro-enterprises with capability.

• Submit a Letter of Good Standing issued in terms of COIDA, confirming registration as an employer under the Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act.

• Tender validity period: 120 days, irrevocable and open for acceptance.
• The municipality reserves the right to accept or reject any tender, cancel the process, or accept part of a tender.
• Withdrawal of a tender after submission may incur liability for additional expenses.
• The contract is subject to the municipality's Supply Chain Management Policy.
• Prohibited practices include collusive bidding, price-fixing, and market division, which may lead to invalidation, contract termination, or restriction from public sector business.
• Negotiations may be conducted with preferred bidders, but not to the detriment of other tenderers or leading to a higher price.
