Tenders must be submitted on the official tender document issued by Matatiele Local Municipality, completed in black ink only, and not re-typed. The completed tender and all compulsory attachments must be placed in a sealed envelope, endorsed externally with the tender number, description, and closing date. Tenders are opened immediately after closing time in public at Matatiele Local Municipality Mountain View BTO Offices, R56. Mandatory documents (failure to submit any will invalidate the offer): proof of CSD registration (full report printed); completed MBD 3.3, 4, 6.1, 8 and 9 forms and annexures; Ethics Commitment Form; Authority to Sign form; and, if applicable, a signed Joint Venture Agreement. Prices quoted must be firm and inclusive of VAT.

Bids are evaluated on the 80/20 preference point system in line with the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) of November 2022. Price accounts for 80 points and B-BBEE status for 20 points.
