Proof for claiming preference points:

Scope: Supply and delivery of catering equipment, household appliances, business equipment and furniture for the uMgungundlovu District Municipality area.

Quotations must be submitted per quotation package (numbered 1 to 48), each package listing specific items with quantities and specifications. Items include foldable tables, plastic chairs, pot sets, microwaves, chest freezers, urns, stoves, gazebos, fridges, washing machines, printers, laptops, and other equipment.

Each package is assigned to a named beneficiary (e.g., Busisiwe Glori Mhlongo, Zibuylie Annatoria Dlamini, etc.). Bidders must price each item in the allocated package(s) and provide unit prices and total costs in South African Rands.

Pricing schedule: Official pricing and bidding schedule (Annexure A) with quotation packages 1 to 48. Each package lists items with specifications, quantities, unit price (excl. VAT), total cost (excl. VAT), subtotal, 15% VAT, and total package price including VAT. Bidders must complete all fields for the allocated package(s).

Pricing format: Fixed price quotation on company letterhead.

Price must be inclusive of VAT and all costs relating to disbursements.

Offer validity: 90 days from the RFQ closing date.

All prices must be in South African Rands (ZAR).

VAT: 15% Value Added Tax must be shown separately in the pricing schedule.

B-BBEE evidence: B-BBEE certificate or affidavit, CSD report, ID documents of owners, municipal account or lease agreement, doctor's certificate or disability database.

B-BBEE requirements: Preference points are awarded under the 80/20 system. Proof for claiming preference points includes B-BBEE certificate or affidavit, CSD report, ID documents of owners, municipal account or lease agreement, and doctor's certificate or disability database.

Mandatory requirements: signed and completed SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1; evidence of CSD registration (MAAA) with confirmation of tax compliance status (SARS PIN if non-compliant). Failure to provide any mandatory information results in non-responsiveness.

Evaluation is based on 80/20 price/specific goals allocation.
