Tenders

The successful bidder will be required to complete and sign a written contract form (wcbd 7.1). Bidders must submit a hard copy of all documents, including all pages of this bid document, all its annexures and any requested or supplementary information provided by the bidder in response to this call for bids. Bidders may also submit a soft copy of the completed bid documents in a USB format. Should the electronic copy differ from the hard copy, the hard copy will supersede the electronic copy. Bidders must ensure that NO pages are omitted or duplicated in their bid submissions. The department accepts NO liability arising from omitted or duplicated pages. Failure to submit any of the information requested may result in a bidder being disqualified.

• The general conditions of contract (gcc) form part of all bid documents and may not be amended. • Special conditions of contract (scc) relevant to this specific bid will supplement the gcc. In case of conflict, the scc provisions prevail. • Collusive bidding (bid rigging) is prohibited under the competition act. Tenderers shall state the unit costs of each of the items as specified in the boq. Failure to comply with clause 2.1 Could preclude a tender from consideration. The project contract will be for 3 months from the date of award. A penalty fee of r5000 per week will be charged if the project is not completed on time.
